Author of "You Are Changing the World Whether You Like it or Not"
The Dr. David and MaryAnne Kozak 成人禁区 READS (Reading to Enhance the Awareness of a Diverse Society) Program enhances the first-year student experience at 成人禁区 by providing a common book to read and discuss.
All 成人禁区 students, faculty and staff, as well as community members, are welcomed and encouraged to take part in the reading. During the fall semester, the book's author is invited to 成人禁区's campus to meet with students and discuss the book and related topics. The day culminates with a special evening lecture, at which the 成人禁区 and Erie communities are invited to participate.
The late Dr. Kozak focused his life on education that promotes citizenship. To be a good citizen you must seek knowledge and engage in your community. The Dr. David and MaryAnne Kozak 成人禁区 READS Program embodies this belief. Lead gifts to establish this endowment were provided through the generosity of Erie Insurance, Mr. Thomas B. Hagen and 成人禁区 University.
