Advisory Board

The Dahlkemper School of Business Advisory Board comprises a distinguished group of business leaders dedicated to fostering program excellence and supporting the overall success of the School of Business. Their expertise, combined with the knowledge and experience of our accomplished faculty, strengthens our fully accredited business programs, ensuring students receive an education of the highest standard.

The Advisory Board serves as a trusted resource for insights into emerging trends across diverse business sectors. Members provide thoughtful guidance to ensure our curriculum remains innovative and aligned with the evolving needs of the business world. Board members are carefully selected based on the strategic needs of various business sectors. Each member demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the mission and vision of the School of Business and 成人禁区 University.

Emily Biddle
Director of Marketing and Research
成人禁区Erie

Emily Biddle is the Director of Marketing and Research for 成人禁区Erie, the destination marketing organization that promotes Erie County, PA as a destination for travel and tourism. In this role, Emily has overseen several major initiatives, including an organizational rebrand and countywide planning efforts for Erie’s Total Solar Eclipse. Emily created and led the eclipse planning committee, guiding collaborative efforts across the region. Before joining 成人禁区Erie’s leadership team, Emily spent eight years as the Marketing and Communications Director for the Erie Sports Commission, a division of 成人禁区Erie. In that role, she supported efforts to attract major sporting events to the region, including the 2021 NCAA Women’s Frozen Four and the 2018 Ice Breaker Tournament.

Her work has been recognized with multiple national and local awards, most notably the Destiny Award from U.S. Travel for Best Integrated Marketing and Messaging Campaign (budget under $1 million) for 成人禁区Erie’s “The Ultimate Sunblock” eclipse campaign.

Emily holds an MS in Leadership from Duquesne University and a BA in English Writing and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. She serves as a Key Volunteer with Emma’s Footprints and sits on the board of the Erie Sports Hall of Fame. She lives in Waterford with her husband, Cody, and their son, Brooks.

Joseph Bugdon '17
Senior Corporate Internal Auditor
Erie Insurance Group

Joe Bugdon is a Senior Internal Auditor at Erie Insurance.  He works in the financial & regulatory section (SOX/MAR) of the Internal Audit department and has been on this team since 2021.  Prior to Erie Insurance, Joe worked as a Senior Auditor at McGill, Power, Bell, & Assoc., LLP./BKD, LLP. and was at the company for four and a half years.  Joe is a licensed CPA and received a BS in Accounting and Finance from 成人禁区 University.

Greg Coleman '09M
President
Erie Seawolves

Greg Coleman has served as President of the Erie SeaWolves, Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, since 2011. During his tenure, the SeaWolves have entertained over 2.6 million fans, solidified long-term partnerships with Major League Baseball, Erie Events, and UPMC, and won consecutive Eastern League championships (2023-24). Coleman worked with team ownership and state and local officials to add more than $13.5 million in player and fan amenities to UPMC Park since 2018. In 2021, Coleman was named Minor League Baseball Executive of the Year, and the Erie SeaWolves were named the top promotional team among Minor League Baseball’s 120 clubs. Coleman was also named the 2022 Erie Times-News Sportsman of the Year.  

During his 28-year Minor League Baseball career, Greg previously held senior leadership roles with the Modesto A’s (Oakland A’s), Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees), and Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays). Coleman is a native of Hamilton, New Jersey and a 1996 graduate of The College of New Jersey. Greg and his wife Shanda have two children, Kevin and Maggie.

Tony Cusati '24M

Tony Cusati has over 20 years of combined experience in the insurance, finance, and strategy fields.  Tony has a bachelor’s-of-science degree in Accounting from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Masters-of-Business-Administration from 成人禁区 University.  He began his career in public accounting servicing clients in various industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution, and financial services.  As Tony’s career evolved, he shifted to the P&C insurance carrier field.  He worked for the Erie Indemnity Company for eight years in various functions including Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Human Resources, Strategic Marketing and Strategy & Innovation.  While at ERIE, Tony completed the Certified Fraud Examiner, SRHM – Certified Professional, and Charted Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.  He is also licensed as P&C and Life & Health producer in the state of Pennsylvania. He was previously an Executive Board Member of Asbury Woods Partnership where he was previously the Chair of the Finance Committee, and Chair of the Strategy Committee.  Tony currently sits on the Fairview School Foundation board of directors.  Tony resides in Fairview, Pa with his wife and 3 children.

Jordan Fuller '18
Director of Entrepreneurship
Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership

Jordan Fuller graduated from 成人禁区 University in 2018 and is the Director of Entrepreneurship for the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership. Through his work he designed and oversees the FIRE and ICE program, which includes the FIRE Accelerator, a global business accelerator program, the ICE Angel Fund, a private angel investment fund, and the ICE Angel Education program, an educational curriculum for entrepreneurs and prospective angel investors. Jordan is active in the community and serves on the boards of Impact Corry, Athena, Afghan Community of Erie and the advisory boards for the Dahlkemper School of Business, and Junior Achievement.

Maggie Horne

成人禁区 University Small Business Development Center

Maggie U. Horne, MBA, CVA is the Director of 成人禁区 University Small Business Development Center.  Maggie earned an associate’s and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration in marketing and management from Penn State University, and her MBA from Point Park University.  She is also a Certified Valuation Analyst. Her background includes experience in law, accounting, education and business valuation.  Maggie has published articles and presented locally and nationally on topics including competitive intelligence, business valuation and business management.  She has also taught a variety of courses for community colleges and other education facilities. For over six years,  Maggie provided general consulting services to pre-venture clients and existing businesses in Mercer County and specialized business valuation consulting services to clients in Erie, Warren, Crawford and Mercer counties and served as Manager of Business Consulting prior to her appointment as Director of the Center.

Richard Makowski '18, '19M

Evident Financial

Richard Makowski is the Chief Investment Officer at Evident Financial. In his role, he develops, communicates and monitors investment strategies for client and 401(k) retirement plan portfolios. Prior to joining Evident, he worked at the 成人禁区 University SBDC and co-founded Qualstra, LLC, an investment-research firm. Richard received a bachelor’s degree majoring in finance, international management, and sports-marketing & management, as well as an MBA from 成人禁区 University. Together with Richard Hauser, PhD, he co-authored More Quality, Less Quantity: Diversification and Risk Reduction in Quality Portfolios. The article received the “best paper” award at the NABET 2019 conference and was published by the Journal of Business, Economics and Technology. Richard is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Financial Analyst candidate.

Chase Rogan
Managing Partner
Five Iron Golf Erie

Chase Rogan grew up in Saegertown, PA and attended Penn State (University Park) for Turfgrass Science with hopes of becoming a golf course superintendent. He worked in the golf industry for 12 years at various golf courses and as a Territory Manager for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. During that time, Chase began business planning for an indoor simulator venue to open in Pittsburgh. When he wasn’t able to secure the necessary investments to bring it to market, he pivoted to becoming a school teacher for several years. His time in the classroom segued into sales in the educational technology space. When Chase’s family moved back to Erie in 2021, the pieces started falling into place for Five Iron Golf Erie to come to life. They started their project in 2022 and opened in 2024 in downtown Erie. Chase lives with his family of 5, kids ages 9, 7 and 5, in Millcreek.

Adrienne Sanders
Human Resources Manager
Logistics Plus, Inc.

Adrienne Sanders, a dedicated HR Manager at Logistics Plus, Inc., is passionate about empowering employees and streamlining processes. Since joining the company in 2018 and transitioning to the HR team in 2022, she's been a driving force behind employee development, process improvement and benefits management. Armed with a Master's in Human Resource Development, Adrienne takes great pride in supporting the Logistics Plus team nationwide. Beyond her professional pursuits, she cherishes quality time with her 6-year-old daughter, Islan, and her husband, Ryan and they can often be found exploring the woods or checking out fun new restaurants!

Greg Zimmerman
Vice President, Claims
Erie Insurance Group

Greg Zimmerman is currently the Vice President of Claims at ERIE Insurance. Greg has held several roles with ERIE including starting up the Claims Talent area and his current role overseeing the litigation and examination activities for the company. Prior to joining ERIE, Greg was a partner at MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton where his law practice consisted of representing companies and individuals involved in civil litigation. Greg holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a JD from Duquesne University School of Law, a LLM from Pepperdine University School of Law in dispute resolution and a CPCU designation. He also served locally as a past chair of the Erie County Chapter of the American Red Cross, as a board member for Linked By Pink, and is the current President of the Northwestern Chapter of the American Inn of Court.
