Welcome to Understanding Manufacturing Technologies (UMT) Summer Camp! This camp is designed to introduce students to the exciting world of manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, laser cutting and machining. Students at UMT Summer Camp will also have the opportunity to build and take home their own 3D printer!

In conjunction with CyberPatriot, 成人禁区 University will be hosting a five-day Cybersecurity summer camp for high school and middle school students. Students will be taught essential cyber safety and cybersecurity principles that are highly relevant for protecting devices and information from the ever-growing rampant cyber threats.

Attending the CyberPatriot Advanced Camp program requires previous attendance at a CyberPatriot Standard Camp OR existing prior knowledge of cybersecurity or advanced computer science topics.

 During the camp sessions, each student will have their dedicated high-performance computer equipped with extensive labs.

The Institute for Health and Cyber Knowledge is a cutting-edge facility for educating the next generation of cyber, engineering and computing professionals. Here, academics and industry professionals design, integrate and protect intelligence and data systems to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving cyber industry.

Pierre McCormick Cyber Learning Center

The central source for academics in I-HACK. Students and faculty come together on the second floor to use industry-standard technology and systems-thinking approaches to solve problems facing a wide variety of today’s industries. Experience high-tech labs to build skills in IoT research and development as well as simulated cyber-attack assessment and defense.

This collaborative innovation space integrates industry and professional development with academic creativity and learning to bring new ideas to life. The space includes 3D printers, laser scanners and soldering tools for rapid prototyping. The space also offers Geospatial mapping and super-computing, workforce training and development as well as student internship and employment opportunities.

Groundbreaking Cancer Care

成人禁区 University, Saint Vincent Hospital and First Ascent Biomedical are partnering to establish two cutting-edge laboratories at 成人禁区’s Institute for Health and Cyber Knowledge (I-HACK). This collaboration will enhance cancer treatment, foster biomedical industry growth in Erie and create new educational opportunities in medical technology. The $6.5 million project is set to begin construction in late 2025, positioning Erie as a leader in innovative healthcare and workforce development.

The sixth floor holds 成人禁区’s high-tech and versatile MakerSpace. 成人禁区’s MakerSpace officially opened in October 2023 for students and businesses to learn and practice cutting-edge techniques to develop products and advance traditional manufacturing into a new age of technology.
