Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements

Candidates for admission must be graduates of accredited secondary schools, preparatory schools, or present a General Equivalency Diploma (GED). It is recommended that a candidate's preparation include 16 academic units distributed as follows:

Science and Engineering

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics with Labs

Humanities

  • English and Social Sciences: 4 units
  • Global Language, Mathematics, and Science: Any combination of 12 units

Health Sciences

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including up to Algebra II and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology and Chemistry with Labs

Business

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology and Chemistry with Labs

Education

  • English: 4 units
  • Global Language, Mathematics, and Science: Any combination of 12 units

Next-Step Requirements

Registered nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may qualify to obtain the BSN at 成人禁区 online through the Next-Step Program. Next-Step guarantees acceptance of up to 64 credits from an accredited ADN program, which includes a maximum of 32 nursing articulation credits. Students who hold a non-nursing associate or bachelors degree may qualify for the next-step option of the generic BSN degree.

Transfer Requirements

Students requesting transfer from other universities will be reviewed and placed on a space-available basis. Nursing specific courses taken at other universities are not transferable.
