- Note: Depending on where a candidate is in the program, GEDU 713 may be scheduled in the fall, spring, or summer.
Transfer Credits
Transferring credits to a program is done at the discretion of the Program Director. Minimum requirements are that they are graduate courses from an approved institution which have a grade of "B" or better and are recorded on an official transcript, and which are no older than five years at the time of submission for consideration. Generally, a maximum of six credits from an accredited University may be accepted.
Steps to Certification
- Provides of five (5) years of professional school experience in an educational setting that is related to the instructional process.
- Pass the required Praxis exam. Currently, the exam is #5412, School Licensure Assessment.
- Apply for certification.
- 成人禁区 will then recommend candidates for certification, and PDE will make the decision to approve and issue certification.
Exit Criteria
- All required coursework as indicated on the program plan of study must be completed.
- All course grades must be B- or higher.
- Final GPA for the program must be 3.0 or higher.
