Solve Real Problems Across High-Stakes Industries with an Applied Intelligence Degree from 成人禁区 University

In a world drowning in information, Applied intelligence professionals are the ones who extract meaning from the chaos. Applied intelligence is the science of collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to extract actionable insights that solve real-world problems and guide critical decisions across sectors including national security, law enforcement, business and technology. In this program, you will learn how to turn raw data and real-world observations into actionable insights that matter.

This program blends human intuition, social understanding and critical thinking with the power of modern technologies to address complex challenges such as crime prevention, risk assessment and policy formation. You will develop practical solutions to help tackle the world’s most dynamic and unscripted problems.

  • Complete multidisciplinary coursework that enables you to earn a secondary major or minor to complement your career goals.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to enhance your entry into an intelligence career.
  • Learn from faculty who hold extensive experience including national and international law enforcement, counterterrorism and intelligence.

Learn to Lead the Way in Applied Intelligence

Our curriculum follows a “tell, show and apply” hands-on structure. Students learn to:

  • Collect information from diverse sources and evaluate data that is often incomplete, ambiguous or constantly evolving.
  • Identify patterns using analytical methods and current technologies to assess risks, forecast challenges and understand complex environments.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to key stakeholders across sectors.
  • Apply intelligence techniques in national security, law enforcement, cybersecurity, business, finance and policy—fields that depend on informed tactical (short-term) and strategic (long-term) decision-making.

Experience an Exceptional Learning Environment

  • Engage in projects that address real intelligence challenges. You will analyze crime trends, assess cyber risks, study national security issues and evaluate open-source information with an action-oriented, informed mindset.
  • Through contract work, you will develop recommendations for government and corporate clients, helping you build confidence and practical skills that transfer across roles in both the private and public intelligence communities.

Inspire your Academic Success

Gain real-world knowledge through key applied intelligence courses including:

  • Law Enforcement Intelligence: Learn analytical methods that can support investigations into criminal activities such as serial offenders. Students will learn ways to more effectively prevent, and mitigate anti-social behaviors along with supporting related investigations.
  • National Security Intelligence: Gain the foundational knowledge of major risk factors facing national security with the goal of developing policy briefs for influential decision makers.
  • Risk Assessment: Learn how to develop analytical models to identify, assess and monitor environmental risks, as well as apply risk assessment techniques to case studies and real-life examples.

Achieve the Possibilities

Students will gain a high-quality education that enables success in the rigors of graduate school or a future profession. Through an array of program opportunities, you can:

  • Continue your education following graduation to pursue a graduate certificate in anti-money laundering and earn industry professional certifications.
  • Gain the knowledge and skills needed to secure intelligence specialist and analyst careers across sectors including health, education, finance, military, cyber, law enforcement and more.
  • Earn a salary ranging up to $129,890 for careers in intelligence studies, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
