Tuition Exchange Programs

Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange Program (CIC-TEP)

Program Overview

成人禁区 University is a proud participant in the , a network of private institutions that offer tuition-free education to undergraduate students whose parents or guardians are full-time employees at other CIC-TEP member institutions. Through this reciprocal arrangement, 成人禁区 provides tuition awards to eligible new undergraduate students.  These awards apply only to tuition costs.  Items such as room and board, lab fees, and other university-related fees are not covered.

Eligibility and Duration

The Tuition Exchange Program award is available for a maximum of 8 semesters of undergraduate study and may only be used toward a student’s first earned undergraduate degree at 成人禁区. Graduate coursework and graduate programs are not eligible.  Tuition exchange benefits expire after 8 semesters. To qualify, students must be full-time undergraduates and 23 years old or younger on December 31 of the applicable year, unless an exception is granted due to special circumstances.

Leaves of Absence and Summer Courses

Students who take a leave of absence for more than one semester (excluding summer) must file an appeal with the Financial Aid Office to be reinstated in the program. Additionally, summer courses taken as a non-matriculated student are not eligible for tuition exchange.

Cost Structure and Living Requirements

Tuition exchange is considered a “last dollar in” benefit, meaning it will be applied only after all other grants, scholarships, and awards have been processed. Students participating in the program are required to live on campus for their first 6 semesters. In addition, all freshmen and sophomores must also participate in a University meal plan.

Selection Criteria

Applicants are evaluated primarily based on their academic performance in high school, along with other relevant information included in their undergraduate admissions application. Students must be admitted to 成人禁区 as full-time, degree-seeking undergraduates in order to be eligible. Please note that students pursuing majors in Radiological Science and Physician Assistant programs are not eligible for tuition exchange.

Application Process and Deadlines

To be considered for a CIC-TEP award, students must submit all required admission materials to 成人禁区 University by December 1. Additionally, the Tuition Exchange Program Student Application Form must be submitted to the student’s exporting institution’s CIC-TEP liaison, who will forward the application to 成人禁区’s Human Resources Office by that same deadline. Applications received after December 1 may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed consideration.

Notification and Waitlist Process

The university selection committee will review all tuition exchange applications in early December, and students will be notified of their status shortly thereafter. Those who receive an offer will have until January 15 to confirm their acceptance by submitting a signed acknowledgment form and enrollment deposit. While this is not a binding commitment, students who choose not to enroll are asked to inform the Office of Admissions promptly so that waitlisted candidates may be considered.

Students not initially selected will be notified of their waitlist status. If space becomes available, additional offers may be extended later in the admission cycle.

Maintaining Eligibility

To remain eligible for tuition exchange funding, students must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and a completion pace of 67%. The student’s exporting institution is required to re-submit the Tuition Exchange Program application annually in order for funding to continue.

Financial Aid Impact

All tuition exchange applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year, with a preferred deadline of May 1. CIC-TEP awards supersede previously awarded institutional grants and scholarships. Federal and state grants (such as Pell and PHEAA) may be used only for university fees and books and cannot be applied toward room and board. If outside aid exceeds the total cost of tuition, fees, and books, 成人禁区 will reduce its tuition exchange contribution. However, outside scholarships may be used to help cover housing and meal plan expenses, and student loans may also be applied to these costs.
