成人禁区

Mission

The 成人禁区 University Physics Department consists of passionate faculty who are dedicated to educating students using relevant, real-world examples. As a fundamental science, we support and serve numerous other departments across the university by laying a foundation upon which additional professional knowledge will be built. We encourage interdepartmental cooperation through our curriculum and scholarly activities to promote professional development of both students and faculty. We also support the greater Erie community through physics and astronomy outreach events and activities. Our students apply their understanding of physics to their everyday life and professional experiences.

Student Learning Opportunities

We offer introductory physics courses using both algebra (college physics sequence) and calculus (fundamentals of physics sequence), as well as courses with a more conceptual focus (Concepts in Physics and Introduction to Astronomy). The full list of courses is provided in the catalog.
