Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements

Candidates for admission must be graduates of accredited secondary schools, preparatory schools, or present a General Equivalency Diploma (GED). It is recommended that a candidate's preparation include 16 academic units distributed as follows:

Science and Engineering

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics with Labs

Humanities

  • English and Social Sciences: 4 units
  • Global Language, Mathematics, and Science: Any combination of 12 units

Health Sciences

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including up to Algebra II and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology and Chemistry with Labs

Business

  • English: 4 units
  • Social Sciences and Global Language: Any combination of 4 units
  • Mathematics: 4 units including Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus
  • Science: 4 units including Biology and Chemistry with Labs

Education

  • English: 4 units
  • Global Language, Mathematics, and Science: Any combination of 12 units

Respiratory Care Admission Requirements for Freshmen Level

  • Respiratory care is a four-year program, and any freshman who wants to apply should have a minimum cumulative high school Grade Point Average of 2.5
  • Prospective student must have completed following 16 Academic Units at the high school level with Grade ‘C’ or better.
    • Four units of which must be English.
    • Four units of Social Science.
    • Four units of Mathematics including Algebra.
    • Four units of science including Biology and Chemistry with labs.
  • A student must have official transcripts from high school.

Note: International Students need to have a letter of Recommendation for consideration into the program.

Respiratory Care Admission Requirements for Transfer Students

  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or more.
  • Considering the Respiratory Care curriculum, transfer students can only be accepted at the highest level as a sophomore. This will require a student to remain at 成人禁区 for three years.
  • Decision of any credit transfers will be determined by the University after reviewing the transcripts.
