The General Assembly will convene at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 and adjourn by 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. On Friday evening, registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 5:45 p.m. on the First Floor of the Waldron center. Opening Ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. in Yehl Ballroom. Committee meetings will begin by 7 p.m. and will end at 9 p.m. We will provide pizza, snacks and refreshments after the committees finish their work for the day in Yehl Ballroom. Breakfast will be available at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning in the Beyer Cafeteria before the conference resumes at 9 a.m. Committees will break for a half-hour lunch break in Beyer Cafeteria at staggered times.
School registrations will begin to be accepted on Aug. 31. The priority registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 11. The final school registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 28. After the priority deadline, registrations will be accepted only if there is space available. Ahead of the deadline, we will provide you with an electronic form to complete your school rosters. Final rosters must be submitted by Monday, Oct. 19.
The registration fee of $30.00 per advisor and $35.00 per student covers Friday night pizza party, Saturday breakfast, lunch and other services.
Country assignments will be made on a rolling basis beginning Monday, Sept. 14. Delegations to the General Assemblies are limited to three members. Delegations to the Security Council, Specialized Agency and Press Corps are limited to two members. Delegations to the Crisis Committee are limited to one member. Please try to fill each General Assembly delegation before requesting additional country assignments.
Revised guidance documents will be posted to this website by the end of Spring semester 2026. Those who have participated in the past or expressed interest in attending will be notified once they are posted to this website.

We strongly encourage delegates to submit a position paper covering their country’s perspective on an assigned committee topic. Please see the rubric on this page for detailed information. The deadline for submitting position papers is Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.
Position papers are to be emailed directly to chido004@gannon.edu as Word or PDF attachments, not links. The filenames should reflect which General Assembly (GA1) and country they are from with no personal identifying information. Papers submitted after this deadline or not following these instructions will not be reviewed. Awards will be given to the top three position papers.
