Career Closet

The 成人禁区 University Career Closet is a FREE resource that empowers students to look and feel confident as they take the next steps in their professional journeys. By providing access to free professional clothing, the Career Closet helps students prepare for interviews, internships, career fairs and networking events with confidence and pride. Students can take and keep one full outfit each semester, no returns necessary!

In just the past three years, the Career Closet has:

  • Served more than 1,000 students
  • Received clothing donations from more than 400 community members and local employers
  • Supported students representing a wide range of majors and career paths

Your support makes this possible!

  • Donate clothing: We welcome new or gently used professional attire such as suits, blazers, dress shirts, shoes, and accessories. 
  • Give financially: Monetary donations help us maintain the space, purchase essential items in high demand, and expand our offerings to meet student needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Make an appointment at the front desk in the Student Success Center on the first floor of Palumbo Academic Center or by using the Handshake app. The closet is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. You will need your 成人禁区 Student ID to check in for your appointment.

Students may take one full outfit each semester they are enrolled full time at 成人禁区.

No! If you are currently enrolled as a full-time student at 成人禁区, your outfit is free of charge and does not need to be returned.

The Career Closet is available to all current, full- time 成人禁区 students.

We do our best to maintain a wide variety of sizes and styles, but due to the nature of donations, we cannot guarantee availability of all sizes and styles. We do receive regular donations and encourage you to stop by the closet every semester to build your wardrobe while you are enrolled. If you are in need of a specific item, please contact our office at career@gannon.edu or 814-871-7437.

Note: We are mostly in need of Small & Medium Sizes of each item 

We accept new or gently used business professional clothing items at the front desk of the Student Success Center in the Palumbo Academic Center. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm. Types of items we accept includes: 

  • Dress pants, trousers, slacks, and khakis 
  • Sport coats and blazers 
  • Button-down shirts and blouses 
  • Work-appropriate skirts and dresses 
  • Ties 
  • Belts 
  • Dress shoes 
  • Accessories
