The 成人禁区 University Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree program is designated by the Department of Homeland Security as a STEM field. This means that students on an F-1 visa are eligible to apply for additional optional practical training (OPT) time after they graduate.
To meet the growing demands of the healthcare industry, organizations need skilled, forward-thinking leaders with expertise in healthcare administration. 成人禁区 University’s Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program cultivates professionals who are prepared to navigate the complexities of modern healthcare systems with strategic insight and operational excellence.
Our MHA students bring diverse educational and professional backgrounds, including experience in clinical roles and various aspects of business administration. The program is heavily comprised of international students, offering a global perspective on healthcare challenges and solutions. Their multilingual abilities, cross-cultural competencies, and knowledge of international healthcare systems make them valuable assets in an increasingly interconnected healthcare landscape.
Our MHA program is a candidate for CAHME accreditation, and it equips students with the analytical, financial, and leadership skills necessary to drive innovation and efficiency in healthcare organizations. Whether in hospitals, consulting firms, insurance companies, or healthcare technology enterprises, our graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully and make an immediate impact.
We encourage you to connect with our talented MHA students and explore how they can support your organization's mission through internships, residencies, or full-time roles.
There are several ways employers can take advantage of the international talent at 成人禁区 University, both for short- and long-terms.

Most international students at 成人禁区 hold F-1 visas, and according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), they are eligible to apply for work authorization, to work in the U.S. in positions that relate to their fields of study. F-1 visa holders (on approved OPT) can work in the U.S. for up to 12 months through the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program; STEM OPT provides an additional 24-month extension of the 12-month OPT for a total of 36 months of OPT work authorization.
成人禁区 University students with F-1 visas can use CPT to intern full time during the summer months between their first and second year of studies and part time during the school year. With assistance provided from the 成人禁区 University Office of Global Support, employers just need to document the terms of employment to students, and we can assist them with the remaining steps to obtaining work authorization. Students are responsible for all application procedures, so this is not a time-consuming process for employers.
Students holding F-1 visas may be employed full time for 36 months after graduation under STEM OPT. 成人禁区 University’s Office of Global Support works with students as needed to obtain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) before graduation, so they are ready to work soon thereafter. Students do not need an offer to obtain an EAD, and employers are only required to complete an I-9 form and provide a standard offer letter for any international hire on STEM OPT.
