Research for 成人禁区 mathematics majors often arises both at and outside of the university.
Research at 成人禁区
As part of the mathematics major, students have the option to work one-on-one with a 成人禁区 faculty mentor on an original research project. Past students have presented their research at conferences such as the Allegheny Mountain Section of the Mathematical Association of America. Students have also had results published in peer-reviewed scholarly journals.
Student-faculty research outcomes (成人禁区 mathematics majors in BOLD):

Off-site Research Opportunities
Additionally, past students have been accepted to and participated in the highly competitive NSF-sponsored Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs around the country.
SERVICE-LEARNING IN THE COMMUNITY
Student projects with faculty mentorship or within our Mathematical Modeling course have also participated in service-learning projects aiding community partners, including Erie Arts & Culture, L’Arche Erie, Our West Bayfront, and the Purple Martin Conservation Association.
